About MegaPlays
A small, deliberately-curated browser arcade — plus the editorial rules we hold ourselves to.
Why this site exists
Most free game sites are built for page views, not for players: hundreds of half-broken thumbnails, auto-playing videos, and games that open behind three pop-ups. MegaPlays is the opposite by design. A short library, honest previews, and a page that loads faster than the game does.
What is in the library
A deliberately short library, chosen across five categories: puzzle, hidden object, strategy, simulation and racing — and it grows every month. Every entry has to load in a few seconds on a normal connection, work with both a mouse and a finger, and stay interesting past the first five minutes. When a game stops meeting that bar — or its developer pulls it — it leaves the list.
How the games are hosted
Games are HTML5 builds owned by their developers, embedded through Playgama's partner platform. That means the developers keep control of their work and get paid by the advertising inside their own game — which is why we can keep the surrounding page free of clutter.
Editorial policy
- We play what we write about. Every guide on the blog is based on our own sessions, not on a developer's marketing copy.
- No sponsored rankings. Nobody can pay to appear in a "top" list, and we do not accept payment for a review.
- Flaws get mentioned. If a game has a weak tutorial, an aggressive hint paywall or a long load, the guide says so.
- Corrections are public. Factual errors are fixed at the source and the "last updated" date reflects the change.
How the site stays free
Games carry their own advertising inside the play frame. We do not run pop-ups, we do not sell email addresses, and we do not ask you to register. If you use an ad blocker, the site still works — the games simply earn less for their developers.
